Rapper Jay-Z will headline the Super Bowl LXI halftime performance in Inglewood, he announced Monday.
The announcement came during Monday night’s game as the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles faced off against one another.
Super Bowl LXI will be held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2027.
Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has produced the halftime show since 2019 and recently inked a five-year extension to continue in the role through 2029.
Since Roc Nation took over, the halftime shows have leaned more heavily into hip-hop and rap. Last year’s show at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, featured Bad Bunny with guest appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.
The last Super Bowl Halftime Show in Los Angeles in 2022 included Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar with cameos by 50 Cent and Anderson .Paak. Other recent performers include Kendrick Lamar/SZA (2025), Usher (2024) and Rihanna (2023).
